Gurgaon Administration has advised corporate and private offices to stay at home today because of the possibility of heavy rainfall, which could cause congestion of traffic. The heavy rains yesterday caused congestion and water logging in various parts of the city.
The weather bureau has predicted moderate to heavy rains for today , and issued a yellow alert.
“In light of the heavy rainfall forecast, there is a risk of traffic congestion and waterlogging. Therefore corporate offices as well as private institutions within District are encouraged to instruct the employees of their company to operate from home , so that traffic congestion is prevented,” the Gurugram disaster management authority stated in its guidance.

All colleges and schools are also instructed to stay in closed.
The rainy spells that are expected to continue shortly before the removal of monsoon rains from the National Capital Region will help in reducing the massive deficit (46 percent as of the 22nd of September morning) to a certain extent. This will also help keep the air fresh and the temperature at a minimum.
The city has recorded the city’s lowest temperature at 23.8 degree Celsius and a high temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius this morning, which is seven notches lower than the normal.
