Hyderabad:

 A former India captain Mohammed Azaharuddin and the Hyderabad Cricket Association are being blamed for criminal negligence following this morning’s stampede on the Gymkhana premises Sources have claimed.

Four were injured during the stampede, as fans hustled to buy tickets to three T20I clash in the match between India against Australia.

This India match and Australia match will be played in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on the 25th of September.

A crowd of people were waiting to purchase tickets. The situation grew out of control, and an uncontrollable stampede broke out. The police used batons reduce the crowd and restore control.

Police have said they were faced with an uphill task in tackling the incident.

Around 15,000 people assembled on the Gymkhana Grounds.

Some cricket fans have claimed that the tickets were offered in black.

Telangana The Sports Minister V Srinivas Goud yesterday had stated that strict action will be taken against anyone selling tickets at excessive prices.

Hyderabad was the venue for an international game after more than two years.
