Megastar Chiranjeevi has completed his 44th year in the field of film on Thursday. To celebrate Chiranjeevi posted an article on his Twitter account thanking his followers for “limitless affection and love”. He wrote “Chiranjeevi is the Actor as you know was born on the 22nd of September, 1978. exactly 44 years ago! I owe the unending affection and love I get from you all until today! I am forever grateful to you all! Happy and grateful!” Then he added folded hands emoticons. Then he added hashtags ” Pranam Khareedu 22 September 1978 Debut Film Release”.

Chiranjeevi made his debut as an actor in Telugu cinema in the movie Pranam Khareedu in 1978. He has since then, he has been ruling the world of cinema. The megastar has been in more than 150 film in Telugu as well as film that were made in Hindi, Kannada and Tamil. He was also awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award, in recognition of his contributions to Indian film.

Presently, he’s prepping to release his next film Godfather which features Salman Khan (in the role of a cameo) along with Nayanthara. The action-packed political film includes Puri Jagannadh Satyadev Kancharana as well as Samuthirakani as pivotal characters. The film is directed by Mohan Raj, the movie is scheduled to release in theaters on October 5.
